Famara Bungalows, Famara, Lanzarote

Playa Famara is situated on the north west region of Lanzarote. One of the most beautiful locations on the island, Famara nestles into the foothills the magnificent 2000 ft mountain range which divides the northern peninsular of Lanzarote. This golden sandy stretch of beach is approximately 6 km and offers plenty of space for clothes optional sunbathing and strolling along the sea-shore. There are a number of good restaurants and local mini-markets in La Caleta ( the village) of Famara. Famara still remains untouched by mass tourism enjoying peace and tranquility with its quaint fishing harbour, magnificent mountain range and breathtaking sunsets. Famara benefits from all year round sunshine with few cloudy days and very little rainfall.

One, two and three bedroomed detached bungalows set in their own plots facing the sea. Access to swimming pool.

Most bungalows have two toilets with a combination of baths and showers. Being privately owned decor and furnishings do vary.

At the front of the bungalows you will find a nice patio area enclosed by a stone wall and fantastic sea views. To the rear of the bungalows you see the magnificent El Risco mountain range. The beach is very large and is a favorite with surfers and holidaymakers that don't want the busy tourist resorts that can be found on the East Coast.

The village of La Caleta de Famara is a 5 minute drive or you can walk alongside the beach which would take about 15 minutes. In the village are several good restaurants, pavement side cafes and four supermarkets. Famara is a quiet fishing village with a harbour, great views, nice walks and no night clubs or Mcdonalds.

This property is classed as Naturist Friendly. A car is desirable at Famara if you want to explore the island.
