Grand Lido Negril Resort & Spa, Jamaica

Entertainment

Atlantis disco opens at 10:30pm and Amici Piano Lounge from 6:00pm. Nightly live shows and a total of nine bars.

Carnival Night

Held on the Gran Terrazza every Wednesday night. Carnival Night features a Caribbean buffet, guests in costumes, a show and cabaret.

Gala Night

Held every Friday on the Gran Terrazza. A gala evening of gourmet food and music. A truly elegant party in the tropical tradition.

Dining

At Grand Lido Negril we've created the standard of excellence for Caribbean dining with more culinary awards than any other Caribbean resort.

And while awards are nice, it's the day to day adherence to rigid standards that gives the Grand Lido resorts our consistent taste of excellence.

Chefs trained in European, French, Italian, Caribbean, Japanese, American and Continental cuisine. Fresh pasta. Fine wines. Desserts that are barely legal. And as always, no tipping allowed. Not ever. Breakfast and lunch buffets are lavish and beautifully presented.

Piacere

Formal elegance in a luxurious, candlelit setting, serving Nouvelle cuisine. Dinner only. Reservations and jackets are required.

La Pasta

Casual Italian restaurant. Open from 3:00pm to 2:00am daily.

Cafe Lido

Specializing in continental dining, casually elegant atmosphere (no shorts). Open 7:00 to 10:00 pm nightly except Wednesday and Friday.

Gran Terrazza

Casual, open-air buffet dining for breakfast and lunch and two sumptuous dinner buffets - Carnival Party on Wednesday and Grand Gala Buffet on Friday. Daily Afternoon Tea is also served in the marble foyer. Open 8:00 to 10:30am and 12:30 to 3:00 pm respectively. Dinner buffets from 7:00 to 10:00 pm weekly.

Stone, Timer and Beach Houses

Light meals and full service 24-hour a day. The wide selection features everything from hamburgers and Jamaican meat patties to mouth watering grilled lamb chops. Each houses a terrace area, bar and Jacuzzi. Casual and informal.

Room Service

Twenty-four hour room service is also included.

Bars

Our 9 bars are stocked with premium International and local brands of liquors. The Club House bars are open 24 hours a day.

Weddings

Complimentary, Super-Inclusive weddings feature all arrangements for the ceremony (which can take place in a lush garden, on the beach or in a gazebo atop the rock cliffs), marriage license; minister; witnesses; bouquet of tropical flowers and boutonniere; champagne and traditional Jamaican wedding cake; bride also receives a facial; photography can be arranged at an additional cost.

Conference Facilities

The conference room seats 200 persons (classroom style). Flip charts, public address systems, and a podium is provided on request. Audio/visual equipment, private receptions and banquets can be arranged for a reasonable fee.

Club Houses

Three club houses (Stone, Timber and Beach Houses), each with terrace and Jacuzzi for quiet mingling, offer light meals and full bar service 24 hours daily.

Library

Library with books, magazines and newspapers; audio cassettes and videos available for loan through the Concierge/Social Director.

Video Theatre

Open 24 hours daily, this comfortable room offers big screen satellite television and use of a VCR for viewing of your favorite movies.

Beauty Salon

Beauty salon, featuring complimentary manicure and pedicure. Massage (at additional cost).

Four tennis courts (two lit for night play), with lessons and tournaments arranged by resident pro; bicycle tours; beach volleyball; shuffleboard, volleyball, bicycles, table tennis, croquet.

Water Sports

Windsurfing; sunfish sailing; water-skiing, kayaking; snorkeling; underwater-vision boat rides; scuba diving with daily dives for beginners (a resort course is also included. International PADI certification is available at an additional cost); two pools, one near main beach area, one on clothing-optional beach; five Jacuzzis.

Three Club Houses

The Stone house, Timber House and Beach House offering light meals and full bar service 24 hours a day, complete with terrace area and Jacuzzis.

Accommodation

210 junior suites and full suites. All suites include air-conditioning and ceiling fans, satellite televisions, AM/FM cassette entertainment systems, direct dial telephones, coffee and tea, 24 hour room service, hair dryers, iron & ironing board, in-room safe, laundry and dry cleaning service, and either a patio or a balcony.

Junior Suite Gardenview/Oceanview/Beachfront:

Large bedroom with king-size bed or two twin beds, sunken living room and small balcony or patio.

One Bedroom Suite Beachfront (16 rooms):

Includes 5 piece wrought iron dining set, extra love seat, complete entertainment console and a minibar replenished daily.
