Casa Bonita, Corralejo, Fuerteventura

Corralejo is the main tourist resort in the north of Fuerteventura and plays host to thousands of holiday makers each year. The town, although now quite spread, edges its fine villas and apartments along the winding coast-line to the magnificent clothes-optional white beaches and dunes. Corralejo has many boutiques, shops, attractions and is a magnet for nightlife and a variety of cuisine. The Ferry Port allows hourly links to its neighboring island of Lanzarote. Corralejo benefits from all year round sunshine with few cloudy days and very little rainfall.

'Casa Bonita' was recently built to a high standard and is set in a lovely residential area, about 30 metres from the sea. There are glorious sea views from the main living room and the pool terrace at the front. A large upstairs terrace (600 sq.ft.) also offers panoramic sea views and across to Lanzarote, as well as extensive views over the nearby dune areas to the distant mountains.This rooftop area is possible for discreet for sunbathing. Around the pool & gardens nude is not possible.

The clothes optional beaches are only a few minutes walk away. The short (30 m.) pathway from the house takes you direct to the shore, with various sandy bays close by. A five minute walk along the shore then brings you to the start of the famous sandy beaches, probably the most beautiful in Spain, that stretch for kilometres to the south.

The terrace and swimming pool (about 6 metres long) lies directly in front of the main living room. It is enclosed by a gated wall, so that young children cannot access this area without adult supervision. Adjacent is a tiled parking area for two cars and leading off from this is a tiled path to additional sitting areas. There is a lovely main lounge, (about 250 sq.ft.), with two settees and easy chair, TV, DVD, and a well stocked bookcase. That leads through double doors to the dining room, containing a table and chairs for six, plus two leather easy chairs and a coffee table. Adjoining is the kitchen, with Italian designer units, granite work tops, ceramic electric cooker, combined microwave/grill/oven unit, toaster and coffee machine and of course a large refrigerator. A sliding glass door leads off from the kitchen to a small glazed 'open patio', that has a breakfast table and chairs.

There are three bedrooms, each fitted with top quality beds/mattresses of 210 cm. length. Bedroom 1. has a super king size bed. Bedroom 2. has two 90 cm. wide single beds. Bedroom 3. has a king size double bed. All of the bedrooms have beautiful hand made mahogany fitted wardrobes and all of the windows (as elsewhere in the house) are fitted with mosquito screens. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are in a 'wing' and share a common bathroom with a walk-in shower. A large marble topped vanity unit and modern 'designer' tiles complete that room. A safe is located in the wardrobe of Bedroom 2. Bedroom 3. has an en-suite bathroom with lovely classical tiling, a Jacuzzi bath/shower and marble topped vanity unit.

The house and ground floor terrace have been designed to be without any steps, so all areas can be accessed by a narrow wheelchair.
