Obana Type 5, Charco del Palo, Lanzarote

Charco del palo is a unique naturist village situated on the north eastern coast of Lanzarote. This has been a naturist resort for over 30 years and has a fine selection of apartments, bungalows and villas. To compliment the accommodation are four restaurants, a commercial centre featuring a supermarket, car hire outlet, boutique, beauty parlor and late night bar. To enjoy the sunshine there is a swimming pool built into the rocks with sunbathing terraces, a sandy cove also with terraces and a rocky cove with stainless steel steps leading into crystal clear waters. Many of the apartments in Charco del Palo also have exclusive use of their own complex swimming pools, sauna, coffee and snack bar etc. For walkers, it is possible to walk nude (with discretion of course) through the sand dunes for up to two miles in the direction towards Arrieta which is a great fishing village with several excellent fish restaurants. Local attractions include the Cactus Gardens, Caves of Jameos del Agua and the Green Caves (Cuevas de los Verdes). A little further north is the “Mirador del Rio”, a fantastic view-point overlooking the island of Graciosa. Charco del Palo benefits from all year round sunshine with few cloudy days and very little rainfall.

An Obona "Type 5" is a front line one bed-roomed apartment suitable for 2 persons. The apartments are set in gardened terraces around a large heated swimming pool, all having superb pool and sea views. The apartments are fully equipped for self-catering. They have a separate bedroom, living- dining room with kitchenette and bathroom. Each apartment has a small patio and sun-terrace.
